The 2018 Super D has a New Course this year. The course is designed to be a cross over of downhill and cross country riding. There are roll around options for all advanced downhill features. There is nothing on the Super D course that one wouldn’t encounter on the XC course unless they choose to negotiate the features on the DH Course. Full face helmets are not required and many Super D riders compete with the same bike and gear they use for cross country competition.
We have a new course this year! The course is very XC friendly but will challenge the best XC rider and benefit the downhill skilled riders who take the big boy lines. Although pads and full face helmets are not required they are recommended for those who plan on catching air and bombing the downhill sections.
