FULL FACE HELMETS ARE MANDATORY!
The 2018 Fat Tire Downhill is the epitome of DH racing in this region of the country. The event is held on the year round publicly open Lake Leatherwood Downhill Challenge Trail. The trail features technical features, rock drops, jumps, and rock gardens. There are roll around options for beginners however the main lines will shed a lot of seconds and deserve serious consideration. Full face helmets are mandatory!

On-site registration closes one hour before start of event.

Saturday- 7:00-9:00am and 1:30-6:00pm Lake Leatherwood City Park
Sunday- 7:00-8:15am - City Auditorium

Saturday, July 14th from 7:00-8:00am (shuttles to top provided)
Course closes at 8:30am to all riders. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Saturday at 8:30am mandatory racers meeting at top of course.
Racing starts at 9:00am
*Full face helmets are mandatory at all times while riding the course.
Categories and classes run in descending sequence starting with Cat 1’s with one minute intervals between riders.
The course will utilize one of the new gravity lines! Full face helmets mandatory!
